The clip centers on three characters studying the body of one of the beasts that has appeared in the remote village of Hope Harbor. Their examination leads to discoveries described by Dread Central as increasingly unpleasant, though the outlet notes that the scene becomes even more graphic beyond the footage shown in the clip. Hope takes place in Hope Harbor, where a mysterious creature has caused havoc. Police officers and local hunters begin tracking the beast, only to find themselves pursued. As fear spreads and reality starts to unravel, the village’s residents confront a threat that appears to extend beyond the creature itself. The film was shot on an epic scale and has already become one of South Korea’s highest-grossing box-office releases of the year, according to Dread Central. Its cast includes Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton. Hope will be released in theaters through NEON on September 9.
