Horror Movie News Report

The official trailer for The 3 Killer Pigs is now available ahead of the film’s planned limited theatrical release in the United States. The horror feature will begin its run on September 25, with a New York engagement, before arriving on VOD through Quiver Distribution on October 23. Written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill, the film centers on a local farmer who takes extreme measures to recover his livestock. When the killer pigs return to the place where their nightmare began, a blood oath is set in motion. The cast includes Anson Williams, Brian Austin Green, Robert Carradine, Rachel Pizzolato, Sharna Burgess, Jody Quigley, William McNamara, Meghan Carrasquillo, Robert LaSardo, Dare Taylor, James Pratt, Cody Renee Cameron, Richard Gabai, Sadie Katz and Tank Jones. Pizzolato and Burgess are among the performers making their feature-film debuts, according to Horror Society. Carradine, who is identified in the reporting as having died in February at age 71, appears in what could be his final screen project. Horror Society also reported that his last public appearance was at a November 2025 sneak peek screening for The 3 Killer Pigs. Churchill has described the movie as an homage to Italian horror director Dario Argento. The production features a score by Marco Werba, an Argento collaborator, while creature effects were handled by Emmy Award winner Marcel Banks and Anaglyph Studios. Kaitlin Lyerly is credited with the makeup work. Aleksandra Zorich Hunt produced the film, with Guy Quigley and Thundersmoke Media serving as executive producers. Churchill previously directed The Salem Chronicles, while Horror Society also identified him as the filmmaker behind the Amityville Trilogy. Churchill said the team is planning to build a franchise around The 3 Killer Pigs, citing the film’s test-screening performance. The project was produced through AZ PURE and Church Hill Productions, with Thundersmoke Media executive producing. Quiver Distribution has designated the October 23 VOD launch as one of its Halloween titles.
