Exclusive character posters for EVER AFTER have been released ahead of the film’s theatrical debut this week. According to Rue Morgue, Level 33 Entertainment will distribute the horror movie exclusively in theaters beginning Friday, September 4, with a VOD release scheduled for October 27.
The film will also hold its U.S. premiere on Wednesday, September 2, at Los Angeles’ Harmony Gold Theater on Sunset Boulevard. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a special Q&A.
EVER AFTER follows a group of friends who travel to a remote forest lodge for a bachelorette party. Their gathering becomes a fight for survival after they discover that the surrounding forest is inhabited by bloodthirsty figures who believe they are characters from classic fairy tales. As the distinction between fantasy and reality begins to break down, the women must try to stay alive.
Laszlo Illes directed the movie from a screenplay he wrote with László Krisztián Gera. The cast includes Maria De Sa, Lydia Pearl Pentz, Meg Vermette, Philippe Reinhardt, Lara Sas, Miklos Bela Szekely, Riana Emma Balla, Mark Sheppard, Bonnie Aarons, Michael Berryman, Kane Hodder and Malcolm McDowell.
The newly released posters spotlight the film’s collection of reimagined fairy-tale figures, adding to the promotional rollout before EVER AFTER reaches theaters. Its subsequent VOD launch is set for October 27.
