Written and directed by Woody Bess, the horror-comedy centers on a routine debt collector whose life changes when a portal to hell appears inside his local laundromat. The situation escalates when a demon offers him a deal: he must provide three souls in exchange for saving his neighbor from being dragged into damnation. The film stars Trey Holland, Romina D’ugo, Keith David, and Richard Kind. Holland’s listed credits include Battleship and John Carter, while D’ugo has appeared in 12 Monkeys and Law & Order: SVU. David is credited for The Thing and Armageddon, and Kind for Inside Out and Argo. According to Horror Society, Portal To Hell has screened at the Slamdance Film Festival, Frightfest, Chattanooga Film Festival, Calgary Underground, and Vancouver Horror Show.
