Terror Films Releasing is set to premiere The Night Marchers on streaming platforms worldwide on September 25, 2026. The paranormal thriller was written and directed by twin brothers Blake and Brent Cousins, who also appear in the film alongside twin brothers Kevin and Kelvin Antonio.
According to Horror Society, the movie follows lost tapes connected to a film crew that vanished in Hawaii 25 years ago while searching for the Night Marchers, a legendary group of deadly spirits. The film’s story is presented through a found-footage approach, with the recovered recordings revealing what happened to the missing crew.
The Cousins said their interest in the project came from growing up in Hawaii and being familiar with the local lore surrounding the Night Marchers. In their account of the film’s origins, they described the figures as restless spirits of ancient Hawaiian warriors believed to protect the sacred mana of their chiefs. The legend holds that anyone who looks directly at a Night Marcher will disappear.
The filmmakers also said they began the project in 2001, drawing inspiration from the found-footage style associated with The Blair Witch Project. They described filming across sacred Hawaiian lands and said the production developed into an experience that felt increasingly real to the cast and crew.
